Under Wawasan 2035, the creative sector supports the development of skilled and innovative people, enriches cultural identity, and contributes to economic diversification. Brunei Darussalam has strong potential in this space, especially with the talent seen among the youth. Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Paduka Dayang Hajah Nor Hashimah binti Haji Muhammed Taib, the Attorney General and Registrar of Trade Marks, Patents, and Industrial Designs stated the matter at the World Intellectual Property Day 2025 celebration. It was held at the Attorney General's Chambers, in the capital.
Organised by the Brunei Intellectual Property Office, the celebration aimed to raise awareness of the vital role of Intellectual Property system in protecting the works of creators and promoting innovation, and strengthening the nation's creative economy.
